Red Park Equestrian Centre

REOPENING FOLLOWING THE GOVERNMENTS RELAXATION OF RESTRICTIONS.

We are so very pleased to announce a cautious re-opening of the Riding School and would appreciate all clients taking the time to read this guidance. We wish you to enjoy this wonderful sport safely as always.

To prioritise safe keeping of my family, staff and Clients we will be implementing sustainable and practical measures to reassure clients and staff that we are able to responsibly promote reduction in risk of spread of Covid-19.

We ask all attending the centre to be respectful of the measures we implement, this will enable us all to acknowledge our responsibilities to control the spread of Covid-19. Regular updates will be sent as necessary to ensure our ability to operate safely.

We will maintain an accurate account of who attends the Centre and will help inform re traceability should a client or staff member be diagnosed with Covid-19 after attending the centre.

The following criteria will apply:

Riding School Clients will be welcome into the yard and arenas but we would ask you not to enter the stable areas and tack rooms. This isin order to protect out staff and livery clients.

Horses will be tied up by the barn ready for riders.

We can only offer private lessons at this time, but hope to offer semi private for members of the same household fairly soon once we know our protocols work. Lessons will be available from today.

We can only accept bookings from existing clients who are able to lead the horse unaided to the mounting block, organise the tack and mount ready for their lesson, and return the horse to the barn at the end of the lesson, the accompanying adult may assist if competent.

We will only take bookings from clients who are from households who have been observing strict social distancing, are non symptomatic and who have observed all government requirements during lockdown.

Should your situation change between booking a lesson and the lesson day we will accept cancellations with no fee providing we have a minimum of 1 hours notice.

All riders must wear their own hats and P.P.E including clean gloves and must make use of hand washing  facilities upon arrival. Please ensure your hat is fitted correctly. Please refer to https://www.beta-uk.org/media/links37701-  (we are happy to loan our hats and body protectors for the duration of the special measures on a first come first served basis)

All lessons must be paid for by cash in a sealed labelled envelope or by bank transfer. There will be an outside collection point for cash payments. All lessons must be booked by telephone, WhatsApp or email as the office is currently unmanned.

Only one spectator per lesson will be permitted, and only for riders under 18.

Arena space will be strictly limited in order to maintain social distancing therefore all lessons and livery times will be strictly coordinated.

Clients are asked not to arrive at the stables more than 5 minutes before their lesson time and to depart immediately following their lesson.

All lessons will be strictly risk assessed and kept within riders competence, we will not be offering jump lessons or lunge lessons at this time.

We are also advised by the BHS that it is now permitted to travel horses for training and so can welcome people with their own horses for private lessons subject to meeting all criteria.

We reserve the right to check clients temperature on arrival.

By booking a lesson you have acknowledged that you have read and accepted these conditions.

WE APOLOGISE FOR THE SEVERITY OF THE CURRENT CONDITIONS HOWEVER WE FEEL THAT IT IS CRITICAL TO CONFORM WITH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES, TO DO OUR UTMOST TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID -19 AND TO PROTECT THE N.H.S.
